“I became a mum at a young age, so I can say that I have ‘grown up’ with my babies – two very different but very beautiful girls. At first, I was in charge. I was the decision-maker. From what they wore, ate, read, how their hair was braided and where we went on holiday. And then one day it hit me – they became my teachers and my inspiration… from their eloquent speech and their deep love of learning, to their passion for travel, languages, fun, independence and humanity. I realised very quickly that being a mum isn’t at all about ‘my way’ but it’s about ‘their way’ and letting them soar. That way, I become an even better person.”
